2015 National Book Awardee for Best Book of Graphic Literature
I helped Manix design this limited edition book of his News Hardcore comic strips, regularly published at GMA News Online. It was really light and fun to work with him. He was open to ideas and just made me do my thing (yay to cool clients! haha!). I made a pattern of his drawings (he calls it “tao-tao” :D) for the fly leafs. Overall, it was a fulfilling project and we’re both happy with the outcome. The book is now available at all leading bookstores nationwide.
