Product Design for a body temperature monitoring system.
In March 2020, when the world took a plot twist, the previous company I’m with, PouchNATION, had to quickly come up with a product to adapt to the situation.
PouchPASS is a solution to screen and check body temperature of individuals and masses. Our target markets are households, small to medium businesses, schools, hospitals, to communities.
I designed its MVP (Minimum Viable Product) that was launched in a month.
The PouchPASS ecosystem consists of an administrator dashboard, a mobile app, and a wristband with built-in thermometer and NFC/Bluetooth that syncs with the mobile app.
PouchPASS gets real time insights of a person’s temperature, temperature history, and traces contact history. We also leveraged the use of these wristbands to check attendance (for school/business scenarios), access control, and contactless payments
